Seriously though, the bald hermit wizard has a lot of strange things going for him, besides being incredibly ruthless and just downright evil. Yup, totally normal, nothing strange about ol' Gargamel. Whether he was torturing Tim Drake or psychotically seducing Dr. Just a weird old man, living in a hut in the forest, with his cat. ![]() The laugh, alone, could send a chill up your spine. Hamill's take could certainly be hysterical, but it also made no bones as to the character's homicidal mania as he sowed anarchy and pain in Gotham City. Jimmy is framed for a bunch of crimes by a crooked police commissioner and is sent to Radica prison. The difficult part about bringing the Joker to life is that the character needs to be able to tread the line between terrifying and hilarious, making them feel like - with apologies to Two-Face - two sides of the same coin. The series notably aired on the USA Networks Action Extreme Team programming block. The series was produced by DiC Entertainment and ran for 26 half-hour episodes from 1993 to 1994 in first run syndication.
